Geocaching in the Snow

Since I started geocaching it has been a long-standing goal to cache in the snow. Unseasonably cold weather has produced snow showers that brought me that experience today whilst I was seeking ‘The Photograph’ (GC153V9). It was a steep and rocky trip up to the cache and as I got higher the more snow there was. A few hairy bits kept me on my toes and I was, again, thankful for my excellent Adidas Kanadia’s that turned out to be excellent snow shoes. The snow was not that heavy but there was pretty constant cover near the top and moving over the rocks required great care. Photo’s of my little adventure are below:
